First time member!

I'm with you; started watching hockey in earnest this past season and it has been so, so fun. Glad to have another community to be a part of. Especially a forum! I might be dating myself a little bit here, but it's really cool to have somewhere a little more deliberative to chat. Reddit's great, but it's just a stream of non-stop disconnected talking. Discord's the same; kinda a firehose of conversation. I'm hoping to get a little bit more into the weeds with y'all. Thanks for having me!
 
Newbie here too and newbie fan! I've actually never cared for any sport until I got hooked on a random Canes game early this season. Bussi caught my attention and the rest of the team made me instantly addicted. Picked a hell of a year to become a die hard fan of any sport but what a ride! Also looking forward to a threaded forum discussion. Cheers!

You and me both. I discovered it 10+ years ago. It was fun for a while, but it’s gotten progressively worse the last 3-4 years. Earlier this year, I hit my limit and went cold turkey for a couple of months.

Then this group of guys decided they thought it might be kinda fun to win the Stanley Cup this year. So I went back because of that, but I see it as either a temporary thing or limited to a very select few subs. I’m over all the rest of it.

New member, joining because I enjoy r/canes and it sounds like some of the more informed members will likely be hanging out here more often.

Saw them a few times in Geeensboro first time we lived here, then moved back to the UK.
Been in this area since 2005, didn't fully appreciate what a season that was, lol. Followed them more on than off since then, and raised a serious Caniac on the way. Love our team for what they do and how they go about doing it.
