Hello! I am a Canes fan from Cary (the town that is widely mocked for being full of Rags fans, yes Canes fans exist here!) I have been lurking on r/canes for several years now but have never posted. Once I saw this site was coming back I thought I'd join.

I have been a Caniac since the mid-2000s. I was distraught after we lost to the Penguins in the 2009 ECF. Unfortunately it would be almost a decade until we made it back to the playoffs, but once again we are on top!

Howdy! I’m sure that I was a member back in the day, but I suffer from CRS. I was lucky enough to attend a private Stanley Cup party back in ‘06. If anyone knows anyone else who wants a fifth wheel (looking at you, Wade Minter!), I wouldn’t say ‘No’ to another one…

Dude in Rolesville here, graduated from State in 97, same year the Canes came to God's country. Been a STM for several years. Still pinching myself that the boys got us another one.

Hi! I'm the one behind Canes Bingo :)

I married into the Canes fandom - my husband has been a fan since the Hartford Whalers years. We live in Boston but have been to a bunch of games when they play the Bruins and have traveled to Raleigh for games as well.

My favorite IRL canes memory was this past Nov. 17th - my birthday! - i got a puck from and a photo with Svech after their warmups!

Hello all!

Been a fan of the team since 1997. Live in the Charlotte NC area. Love hockey and of course the CANES.

LETS GO CANES!!!!

Glad to be back. This was the place to be for many years. I probably should come up with a new name since I haven’t considered myself from Texas for 20 years but figured I’d resurrect my old name.

Hello! I tried to help test but had issues getting an IP address that could be whitelisted. By the time I got a chance to try again, the forum was open!

Anyway, I’m in north Raleigh but grew up closer to Cary. I’ve been a fan since the fall of 2000. That was my first year of high school and some of my new friends from those days were into the team. Been following them ever since (even when it was a chore).

Somehow I missed the first edition of this site. The team website had a message board for a while, then I went to HF when that shut down, then eventually I got sucked into Reddit. Trying to spend less time there now.

I’m not very good at coming up with usernames.
