Hey, just curious: how many of us aren't from NC or SC?

I'm a born and raised Montanan, spent a few years in Denver, created Milehighcaniacs, and am back in MT trying to finish getting my trucking license and mechanic training.

For those of us not in the NC/SC area, what made you a fan?
 
I'm originally from Canada. But have lived in the Raleigh area most of my life and am married to a native now. So, I'm stuck here. :)
 
From Scotland. Moved to NC in 1997, husband missed soccer and hockey is the closest free flowing sport that’s exciting to watch.
Handily, Canes just arrived, so saw then a couple of times in Greensboro. Loved it.
Moved back to uk for a bit then back here just in time for the 2005/6 season 😃. Huge caniacs ever since, mostly the 1 kid and me, but the rest along for the ride. Kid may be the only person to pick up Russian for several years just because Kooch got drafted.
Watching the team evolve over the years, all the way to the cup has been magical.
