Trade rumors/discussion

Looks like Florida will be going with a Markstrom/Schmid tandem next season. This means Bob is gone and Florida is out on Hellebuyck. Considering Winnipeg turned down Buffalo's offer and they offered way more than we did, not sure if Hellebuyck gets traded now.
 
Was just tuning into Frankly Hockey with Seravalli and Buccigross to catch the discussion on the eve of FA chaos. I think Tulsky will make some moves.
 
Soooo…. Remember that guy we traded to Anaheim along with a draft pick for Carlson’s rights? We just traded another guy to Anaheim to get him back.

Knew he would be moving on but thought it would be retirement. Can't blame him for picking a bag for 1 more year though. We move on cleanly, regardless. All respect and thanks to Freddie!

Flyers just offer sheeted Leo Carlsson 5 years x 18 million. Quite an entertaining offseason for everyone but the Canes, don't blame Tulsky at all for not doing anything yet though.

What an insane contract structure. GMs with young stars shaking in their boots.
 
Carlsson's a good hockey player but 18M/year for a guy with career highs of 29 goals and 67 points is ludicrous.
